As many of you know, every summer we move to California for Adam's work. This year we decided to bring our own furniture. We packed it in our trailer and it was completely full. We brought our king size bed, Russ and Trisha's bed, 2 cribs, a couch, and enough toys to entertain all the kids. Adam literally packed 30 feet of trailer. Adam pulled one of his usual masterpiece packing projects which resulted in a huge heavy loaded trailer. It is crazy to think that 5 years ago it was Adam and I in our little white Honda. We packed and unpacked in a few minutes back then. Now with 2 kids, we had 2 V8s to fill. So much gas was spent that our credit card literally thought it was stolen and shut down. I took Haley with me and Adam had Mason. We left Friday around 6pm and made it to St. George around 10:30pm. I had to stop 2 times to feed Haley but other then that she was a champ. The truck was having issues I guess the alternator was going out. So Adam had to deal with that. We spent the night at Dads condo. We left at 7:45am and arrived in Anaheim Hills, Ca at 3pm. We arrived on a prayer because the trucks battery was completely dead when we arrived, Adam had to have leave all of the power draining things off. No a/c and it was an unseasonable 104 degrees to boot. We were so close to being stuck in the middle of the freeway in CA that Adam literally couldn't start the truck when he came out of the leasing office. Luckily, Adam was able to run the generator on the trailer long enough to move the truck to our apartment and then up the street. Adam has been so busy that he only finally got to fixing the truck today. Since Adam wasn't running the A/C the last part of the trip, I took Mason with me for the last couple of hours. H decided that he had enough of being in the car so he started poking Haley. This resulted in both of the kids wailing for the last 15 minutes, me trying to navigate the crazy California 7 lane freeway all the while on the phone with Adam explaining to me how to get to the apartment in Anaheim Hills.

Mason has been a very gentle brother to Haley but for some reason he thought that her legs looked good to eat and took a bite. It was so sad, Haley cried for awhile and Mason knew what he did and felt bad. So can see his individual teeth bite marks. notice her left thigh

Mason loves to cuddle on the kitchen rug, it is so funny he will get down and then crawl in a circle a few times like a dog then he ends up like this, this is actually the position he sleeps in too.

Mason loves to play in the crib with Haley

He loves giving Haley loves. The first thing Mason does in the morning is say HALLLEYYYY in the highest pitch ever and he runs around the house to find her.

We are so glad that you got there safely. Sorry you had car problems, that is not fun. Poor Haley, but those teeth marks are kinda funny and her laugh is adorable. We miss you guys already!!!!
Wow, talk about taking a bite. Ouchy! They are both so cute. Miss you all!
What an adventure! I can't believe everything you went through to get there. Haley is such a beautiful little princess! I love her laugh. I'm glad that you made it to CA all in one piece. We love you guys!
You are a trooper...that move could not have been easy. Your children are so cute...I am sure Ethan will torture his little sister when she gets here!
love the pictures. You guys make beautiful babies. Mason looks like he is going blonder already. Looking at Haley not smiling is like looking at Adam at that age - for real! How cute - the teeth marks - never have seen anything like that before. Must have been a pretty hard bite. Love them for us - mom & dad
Happy birthday yesterday, Adam! We miss you guys!
