This is a narrow slot canyon called Little wild horse canyon in Goblin Valley State park. It was a beautiful fall day and there were a lot of people hiking in the canyon. We made our way up with our new kid carriers. The kids enjoyed hiking and being carried equally. It was an amazing hike and we highly recommend it. The canyon took awhile and then we looped back through another canyon for a total of 9 miles. It was really fun. The kids enjoyed the camel backs and sharing the water with whomever was carrying them. Some parts of the canyon were extremely narrow and made for a bit of climbing and maneuvering especially with the kids on the back.

We went camping just before our cruise with the Jacobson family. We rented a great trailer, thanks Adam Welch. We camped between Green River and Price. We headed up early on Wednesday and actually found camp in the dark. The first day was a lot of exploring on the dirt bikes, the second was a great hike. We had a great time and the kids loved it!

Great group including James and Tiffany, Amy, Mary, Steven, Russ/Trisha +Cannon, Ben/Kirsten+Trevor, Ethan, Harrison, Bridger, Taiya.

To make time we didn't stop for the last 5 miles. James carried Mason almost that entire distance. Mason loves his uncle James!

Adam with the reluctant picture between canyons looking over the rough country.

Mason really enjoyed his first hiking and climbing trip.

Haley was in and out of the pack all day. She enjoys her cousin Taiya a ton. We caught them holding hands on their own every little bit. Here is Ben, Taiya, Haley, and Adam.

Bridger and Mason.

Two little models!

These two cousins look like they could be sisters. So cute.

It was really fun to have Liz's little sisters and little brother Steven along the hike. They were great sports and helped the kids with the hike and carrying the kids.

Lunchtime.

Kind of a group shot.

Is Mason starting to look more like Daddy?

Really narrow and beautiful.

Liz in all her dirt bike glory. She took a little spill that shook her up a bit. She was driving up a steep hill and was in 2nd gear and was slowing down so switched to 1st and floored it and wheeled right off the bike. It's a lot to learn a new sport but she is doing great and loving her bike and the freedom it gives you.

The deep thigh bruise after the fall. She hiked 9 miles the next day on it. Probably should have iced? Too tough.

Cute ladies.

So if you ever get the chance to camp with Ben and the brood, go! They make crazy dutch oven and it is delicious. Get some!

Look how happy Grandma and Grandpa are. This is right before we told them that Haley was constipated and a few minutes before we left them for a week with our 4 and 2 year old. We don't have an after picture. LOL

Mason and Haley both got to shoot a little bit at some old cans. Mason thought it was fun. Haley thought whatever Mason did was fun.

Liz watched Livi one night so Becca could go help people at the ER. The kids couldn't get enough.

Mason's best friend had a birthday party at the aquarium. Haley was the only girl invited. She runs with those two all day long. She can't get enough.

Recent pick of the 911 with the new wheels. We got the car seat sorted out and have been taking the kids in the car a lot more. Haley is a speed freak. Mason enjoys the ride.

Haley asks to go on the dirt bike every day. Daddy found a decent little pink helmet.

These kids are best of friends. So cute.

This picture was taken after church the day we had to talk in church, we both were happy that it was over :)

Such cute pictures! I can't believe how much fun you were having even before the cruise! I love the last pictures of the family!
love the pix. Send me a 5x7 of the kids (last pic) in front of the house. Wonderful adventures.
That trip looks great, I love the goblin valley area.
That was such a fun trip... Did we ever tell you mason fell off the bed??
